October 1 - Squirrels

Nature is great when it isn't mad at you!

September 30 - Ever feel like you are being watched?

I feel like we are under attack by these damn squirrels! They were actually "yelling" at me because I was standing on my front porch...ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? Now, he's MAD!

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone that made today such a HUGE SUCCESS!!!

September 23 - In My Daughter's Eyes

In My Daughter's Eyes
~Martina McBride

In my daughter's eyes I am a hero
I am strong and wise and I know no fear
But the truth is plain to see
She was sent to rescue me
I see who I wanna be
In my daughter's eyes

In my daughter's eyes everyone is equal
Darkness turns to light and the
world is at peace
This miracle God gave to me gives me
strength when I am weak
I find reason to believe
In my daughter's eyes

And when she wraps her hand
around my finger
Oh it puts a smile in my heart
Everything becomes a little clearer
I realize what life is all about

It's hangin' on when your heart
has had enough
It's giving more when you feel like giving up
I've seen the light
It's in my daughter's eyes

In my daughter's eyes I can see the future
A reflection of who I am and what will be
Though she'll grow and someday leave
Maybe raise a family
When I'm gone I hope you see how happy
she made me
For I'll be there
In my daughter's eyes

I cry every time I hear this song because it holds so true for me. Listen to it and let me know what you think!

September 22 - Rear Window

Today was such a beautiful fall day that I decided to put all the windows down in the car. Boy, was that a mistake. As soon as I put the windows down, I heard a clu-clunk sound and knew it couldn't be good. I realized that the rear window had fallen off the track, but I was already late for bringing Katie to her yoga class at the "Y". We were late for class and I was stressed about leaving the car in the parking lot with an open window. One more thing to fix on the old beast...

September 21 - My FIRST Lasagna

Can you believe that I have NEVER made a lasagna before today! I am happy to say that this lasagna came out great and now I know how easy it is! I will definitly make more :-)

September 20 - Dress Detail

September 19 - Little Girl Dresses

I haven't quite figured out what to do with all the adorable dresses that I buy for Katie, so they hang on the curtain rod in her room. I just can't bear to put them away - they are just TOO CUTE!

What happened to Amy?

I'm still alive, however this blog has obviously taken a backseat to LIFE!!! The fall has been so busy for us and we are just having so much FUN that I have fallen VERY far behind with my daily photo blog. But I am going to try to update it...eventually...
